Want to give 5*, but too $$$
I like the gameplay itself; it is a little repetitive but fun. But as others have said, it ends up being too expensive to play. You cant progress in later stages unless you are willing to put in literally hundreds of dollars, and even that might not help.
You spend money in order to acquire better medals--at least thats the idea. But the MAJORITY of the medals you get after spending money are totally worthless. This is THE WORST free-to-play implementation Ive ever seen, and Ive seen some real duds.
This payment structure is especially disappointing because many of the players of this series of games are kids and teens. It would be far better to have released this as a pay-once-play-forever game as the previous games were. Then at least you would have guaranteed enjoyment for your money.
For this game, I reasoned that I would limit my spending to the amount that I paid for each of the first two games and see how it went, and that has not been enough. Any time a game gets to that point for me, I stop playing AND I warn others so that they dont get fleeced as well. Im doing that now with everyone I know.
Ive liked a lot of game from this publisher in the past, but for this one: Shame on you Square Enix.
